The Supervisory Board of Viscom AG currently comprises Prof. Dr. Michèle Morner (Chair of the Supervisory Board), Volker Pape and Prof. Dr. Ludger Overmeyer. Prof. Dr. Ludger Overmeyer was selected in the General Shareholders’ Meeting on May 27, 2014, by individual vote for he first time. Prof. Dr. Michèle Morner and Volker Pape were selected in the General Shareholders' Meeting on May 30, 2018. The by-election was held according to section 11.4 of the company's articles of association for the remainder of the term of office of the former members Bernd Hackmann and Klaus Friedland. Prof. Dr. Michèle Morner, Volker Pape and Prof. Dr. Ludger Overmeyer were individually elected at the Annual General Meeting on 28 May 2019 in accordance with the recommendations of the German Corporate Governance Code. None of the Supervisory Board members were over 70 years of age at the time of the election. The regular term of office for the Supervisory Board is five years. The current term ends with the regular Annual General Meeting that will approve the actions of the members of the Supervisory Board for the 2023 financial year of the company.

The proposals for suitable candidates not only consider the skills, expertise and experience necessary for the duties of the Supervisory Board but also aim to ensure diversity of Board members.There are a sufficient number of independent members of the Supervisory Board who maintain no business or personal relations to the Company or to its Executive Board.

The Supervisory Board monitors and advises the Executive Board on Company management. It is involved in strategy and planning as well as all matters fundamental to the Company.
